I’m sorry, but I really can’t do that. I make the cake according to an old family recipe and preserve certain rituals in its creation, so that it has its power and the charm of an exceptional magical night of the last day of the old year, while welcoming new hopeful expectations and sweetly good first minutes of the new one.

The only thing I can tell is that the preparation and the first breaking of eggs must begin exactly on a given day and at a specific time, but I will not reveal what day it is or what time I start, strictly alone, without the help of other confectioners.

New Year’s Eve will be held this year under different conditions and will be completely different than what we are used to every year, yet I will bake New Year’s Eve cake again like every year.
